This site is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro2 weather station. I just upgraded from a LaCrosse WS-2310 which ran very well for me for the last year and a half. The data is collected using Weather Display software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge, and a thermo-hydro sensor situated approximately 5ft up on a 4x4 post in my backyard. The anemometer is extended another 4ft above the post to bring it up above the fence a few feet.
